Warranty for Traditional & Lever Espresso Machines
We directly employ our own service department to cover all your coffee machine requirements with comprehensive service cover available (See Terms below). All vehicles have traffic tracing systems to ensure that deadlines can be met and corroborated; our engineers endeavour to be on site attending your / our Coffee equipment within 24 hours of a Call-Out being reported.
If Plumbed, we will also provide a new Brita Water Filter unit within the warranty; this Water Warranty lasts for either until the complete exhaustion of the initially fitted cartridge or 12 months (whichever comes first) and protects your machine from the ravages of hard water damage. This Brita Water Filter unit gives you piece of mind that future costs of descaling your Coffee Equipment and breakdowns caused by the effects of Limescale are covered. The Brita Water Filter unit ensures greater longevity of life of your valuable equipment and reduces potential breakdowns and thereby minimises loss of trade (Coffee Sales).
The Brita Water Filter unit charges do not apply on any Free Loan with Maintenance or Rental with Maintenance agreements as it is covered with Tudor’s terms as this equipment is owned by Tudor Tea & Coffee Ltd
Warranty COVER – Five Days per week Monday to Friday (8.30 am – 5pm)
Period operates on Monday to Friday basis within standard working hours of the day.
A full warranty covers all Parts & Labour Costs for the full year. This does however exclude a frontend Service. This excludes replacement Brita Water Treatment Units.
Non Warranty Call – Outs (this means these Call-outs listed below will be Charged out) includes poor Cleaning management techniques related work as laid out in the manufactures operators manual, Breakages to external Parts, Adjustment to Pre Set Levels as agreed when the equipment was initially installed (such as Grinder adjustments), Blocked Steam Arms or Waste Pipes (and Kinked Pipes) and Limescale related problems . Mains power or water failure or interruption are not covered by the warranty (i.e external supply such as Frozen pipes). Operator must use the manufacturers recommended Cleaning Tablets and materials (fluids) to uphold warranty. Grinders jammed or blocked by foreign objects are not covered under manufactures warranty. Contaminated Boiler through milk gaining access to the Coffee Boiler due to failure to clean and purge the Steam Arms are not covered by our Warranty. Movement from the original site location without using our Engineering Force (will be chargeable if required) will invalidate any warranty therein thereafter.
Boiler inspections for customers Insurance purposes are attended at the customers cost (it is not covered within Free Loan with Maintenance or Rental with Maintenance agreements) and is not supplied as part of the warranty.
Warranty COVER – Weekends
Weekend cover is available but a premium is levied on the labour rates as shown below:
Saturday/Sunday callouts carry premiums 50%/100% respectively for ‘labour-only’ costs. Standard Callout charge is £85.00 +VAT, (to include the first 15 minutes on-site), then £20.00 + VAT for every 15 minutes to affect the repair. Fees subject to location (such as congestion zones tariffs or excessive parking fees) and availability.
(Note – Inner London surcharge may apply due to congestion charge and above average parking costs)
Initial Callout including first 15 minutes on site is £ 127.50 + VAT. Labour cost per 15 minutes worked thereafter charged at £30.00 + VAT. Fees subject to location (such as congestion zones tariffs or excessive parking fees) and availability.
Sundays (or Bank Holidays)
Initial Callout including first 15 minutes on site is £ 170.00 + VAT. Labour cost per 15minutes worked thereafter charged at £ 40.00 + VAT. Fees subject to location (such as congestion zones tariffs or excessive parking fees) and availability.
